Warning to Woodlea Residents
On Saturday evening, September 4th, an acid bomb was found by the driveway on the Wenkels property (1445 Hague Drive). It had exploded and was partially melted, and a bad smell was coming from the bottle. Usually acid bombs are in 2 litre bottles, but this one was a small sized soda bottle. The Wenkels called the police, and they confirmed that is was an acid bomb. They took it as evidence and filed a report. Please tell your children that if they see a soda bottle (any size) in their yard, or someone else’s yard, DO NOT TOUCH SMALL OR LARGE SODA BOTTLES. Tell your child to inform an adult and to call the police right away at 703.771.4500.

———- Forwarded message ———- Dear HOA and Community Leaders:
It appears we have a serial stabber in our midst, who has stabbed three black men (all of whom are recovering) within the past week. The crimes appear to be racially motivated, and this person has apparently stabbed people in Flint, MI (some of whom died). The news release from the police dept. is pasted below, and attached. I would appreciate it if you would post this to your respective email lists, HOA discussion boards, etc. However, please be assured the police are handling this so they can bring this nut to justice. Thanks! Ken Reid Member Leesburg Town Council here’s a link to the Channel 7 story: http://www.tbd.com/articles/2010/08/va-attacks-investigated-for-link-to-mich-killer-996.html
