Important – Home Security
Woodlea Community,
Please pass to your neighbors and friend regarding an attempted break in on Meade Drive in Greenway. Thank goodness for our built in security dogs!
You all know the drill…re-check all your window locks, back doors, and keep your garage doors down if possible.
We will be having another Community Watch Meeting in Feb. or early March.
Have a wonderful 2010!
In Greenway…on Meade Drive

Subject: Fwd: Important – Home SecurityKeep your eyes open and pass the word someone is lurking through Greenway. Apparently someone tried to crowbar open our bottom sunroom door this evening; didn’t get in but tore the door frame all up. The dog was going crazy around 7:00 PM tonight so that’s when they figure someone was trying to break in downstairs. Leesburg sent someone to look at it but there were no prints, just a bad footprint in the mulch that could have been made by anyone.Don, I had them walk the perimeter of your house and all looked good. Roger, they made a couple of trips over to see if you were in but no one answered.Fortunately Lexi and her friend had gone to dinner with her friend’s mother. The alarm wouldn’t go ready so I checked the downstairs door and that’s when I found it all mangled. Please keep your doors locked and bolted. If anyone saw anything or anyone suspicious, please let me know. Thanks and be safe,Stuart

Where abouts on Meade? Has anyone suspected or asked the police if there is any possible correlation between the break-in both car and home and the Budget truck incident. In other words, are the acts all isolated and random or in some way related.(by suspect, victim, time of day, date, weather condition, area, or pattern, etc.
Is there a suspected motive i.e. retaliation, gang activity, theft ring, etc. Seems this kind of activity has really stepped up on the last quarter and it’s disturbing that this is happening in our once quiet safe community. Thanks for keeping us on the aware and for allowing us to participate in enhancing the safety and security of our people and property?
Kind regards,
Tracey
