I work for a CPA firm in downtown Leesburg and we are looking for a full-time bookkeeper.

Candidates must have the following competencies at a minimum:

Intermediate level knowledge of QuickBooks

3-5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience in mid-to-large company

2-year accounting degree or combination of both education and work experience

Willing to work on-site at client’s location

Experience and knowledge of:

  Payroll

  Adjusting Journal Entries

  Bank Reconciliations

  Accrual Basis Financials

  QuickBooks Set-up

Monday-Wednesday Nanny Position: Woodlea Manor family looking for Nanny to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:30am-5:00pm. (Summer hours will change to 9:00am-5:00pm).   We are looking for an energetic, fun, mature and organized nanny to care for our two boys (4 years and 6 years). Position requires picking 4 year old up from preschool xcept during summer months, and light housekeeping/laundry pertaining to the boys. The owners of the property known as “Leesburg South” or “Meadowbrook” are in the process of developing plans for a grocery-anchored, community retail center to be located on approximately 24 acres south of the intersection of Route 15 (South King Street) and Route 621 (Evergreen Mill Road).  As they did for the approved residential subdivision plan on the same property, they are currently soliciting input from the greater community prior to undertaking any detailed planning.  A community information meeting will be held at Evergreen Mill Elementary School on January 25 from 7-9 PM.  In addtion to Woodlea residents, residents of Evergreen Meadows, Linden Hill, Country Club, and Greenway Farm are being invited to attend this meeting.   At the meeting representatives of the property owner will review the overall project as well as open the meeting to a discussion of design, uses, impacts, etc.  Questions and suggestions will be encouraged.  The property owners are also open to discussing the project outside of this meeting.  Please feel free to contact either Peter Kalaris at pkalaris@aol.com, or Bruce DeAtley at whitehallpart@aol.com for additional information.
