RE: Reopening Our Amenities

The Woodlea Manor Board of Trustees would like to update homeowners on the status of the
amenities in the community and when we foresee the safe reopening of our recreational facilities.
Normally, crews are putting the finishing touches on the pool a week before Memorial Day weekend,
and residents are out enjoying everything Woodlea Manor has to offer. We all know this is not a
typical year.

We acknowledge all the inquiries about the recreational facilities and questions about plans for a safe
reentry to a more normal lifestyle. We want to get back to normal too. The Board will continue
following the State, County, and Town directives regarding the reopening of recreational facilities.
Northern Virginia including Loudoun County will open for Phase One no earlier than midnight
Thursday May 28th.

Our tennis courts will open with Phase One. All COVID-19 social distancing and safety protocols are
expected to be maintained.

The playground and basketball court will remain closed until Phase Two as these are considered high
contact areas for a very contagious disease.

Regarding the pool, no decisions have been made as to when or if the pool can open or what additional
restrictions will be implemented. There are many challenges to opening a safe and clean pool and
bathrooms in this time of COVID-19. The Board, TWC Association Management, and Premier
Aquatics are trying to overcome these challenges. Premier Aquatics has prepared the pool, and the
pool itself is ready to open. Regardless when the pool will open, pool staff will maintain the facility in
a clean and sanitary condition throughout the season to ensure that algae, fungus, and mosquitos do not
contaminate any surface or the water.

Premier Aquatics is in the process of interviewing lifeguards that can be certified and trained. Please
contact them if you or someone you know is interested. If the regular staff is not sufficient to meet the
Woodlea Manor pool’s needs, additional cleaning crews and staff will be used to meet them.
Hopefully, Phase One of re-opening will occur next week and an announcement of the Grand ReOpening of our
tennis courts will be forthcoming. Please continue social distancing, wearing your
masks, and washing your hands to help us all beat this pandemic.
